The quote under the title of blog could have been written by my husband, Dave, about his own personal philosophy. It was how he lived his life. Sadly, he passed away on March 24th, 2010, surviving 5 years from his original diagnosis of renal cancer. I created this page to honor him and to keep his memory close. I miss him more than you can imagine.
Dave was a modest and humble man, a natural shaman, spirit warrior, trusted friend, patient teacher and much, much loved husband. A man like that comes along once in a lifetime and those who knew him are better for it. I know that I am.
To my Pirate. You will live in my heart for always.
Your are my love, my life, my true other half.
I am lost without you now but I know
I will find my way someday
because you are still here guiding me.
The power of your light and love
will shine on me forever...
